of what took place 10 years ago.

I recall talking to my mom and my then boyfriend while having dinner together. The news channel was on. And there was a major breaking news update. News anchor shouts, “a plane hits  into the World Trade Center!

I was numbed and immediately lost an appetite for Mom’s delicious foods. We ditched our meals and sat glued to our seats, watching the horrific events unfolding. At one point, Mom thought what she’s seeing couldn’t be real. She was so convinced that it looked like a scene from a Hollywood movie or something. I don’t blame her. It looked eerie, surreal and unbelieving.

As part of continuing my “Living Abroad” series, I thought I would share some of the pros and cons of living abroad. We never get bored shifting through many photos clicked during our recent trip up North. But to blog all about it, boy oh boy! That’s a toughie. Which photos to choose and what stories to share? There are literally gazillion! I would spare you all the behind-the-scene details and would love it if we can FINALLY close the chapter on our previous NEW YORK and DC trip. I am a little overdue with these posts – Oopss… No regrets as I have a policy – when I am surrounded with loved ones, I try to disconnect myself from blogging and such. Precious moments spent with families and friends should be treasured as much as possible 🙂

But I hope you would enjoy scrolling down the memory lane with me. Loads of pictures and cherished memories to share 🙂
