Man vs Game

There’s something about playing video games which Tarun takes way too seriously. I don’t mind at all. Really. In fact, I am more than happy to watch him (from the sidelines) enjoying his moment. Ahh… the glory of being a supportive wife – no matter what, in sickness and health. No pun intended honey πŸ˜‰

I have been contemplating getting him a Kinect, but he refuses it all the time. He always says that he is just as content with his version of video game – plugging the laptop into our Samsung TV and navigating it via a wireless keyboard. Yes people, in this day and age of Xbox’s, Wii and numerous technology, we seemed to be content with the stone age method. Playing with our laptops. Won’t guarantee how long this would last though πŸ˜‰

View of the game – i think it was Fifa 2006.

Sorry honey, better luck next time!

Are you also into video games? What are your favorites? We might as well start our video gaming need research now πŸ™‚

Kiran! I love the pictorial of your husband’s game play! We are XBoxers! My husband is huge into the Halo games! He plays, I read or hang on the internet! I attempt to play some Halo with him on occasion. I’m not all that great with the multiple controls, however, I have improved a bit! We desperately want a Kinect! We may be gifting that to ourselves for Christmas!

I want it for the dance and exercise games! Of course, right?

Tricia,
Thanks for your comment honey! Made my day πŸ™‚ Lucky you on the Kinect, am so envious πŸ˜‰
Of course you gotta get the dance games. Like Dance Central or something. It’s so cool!

Well, not so lucky! We can’t seem to find one anywhere locally. We’re going to have to expand our search to the Boston area! Wish us luck!

Try to talk to the people in the store and tell them you want to reserve the next supply whenever it comes in. If you can wait Tricia, you might get a great deal nearing Christmas. Either way, here sending you loads of luck and wishes πŸ™‚

I’m all too familiar with the man vs. Game struggle. Fortunately, it’s not mine but my hubby’s as well. πŸ™‚ He is dedicated to saving the world and shooting things up several hours a week (I’m being generous here).

But the good news is that he doesn’t do it until I’m done watching TV and ready to snooze on the couch. My presence is my support but I’m not watching the play by play. It works for us.

Di,
I concur with you on being the support. I am sure that is more than sufficient (tolerance) they can expect from us πŸ˜‰
