Blogging friends

.. is like a new chapter in your life. Learning to take baby steps all over again. Well, not really baby steps. But sometimes I truly wish it was easier. When we moved to the States a few years ago, Hubby was assigned as a Software Professional and I instantly immersed myself in completing my online MBA. I begin blogging as a way to keep in touch with my loved ones back in Malaysia and India. But here’s the thing. We are yet to share our experiences as expats over here in the States. We live in North-West of Orlando, where we are often left complaining of our limited dining options and disappointing menus. Don’t get me wrong, no doubt the location and neighborhood is one of the best location to live in Florida, we find it difficult to enjoy outing as much as we should. Not till recently, we discovered many hidden (to us) gems on the North-East of Orlando. Cities such as Winter Park and College Park. Wahoo! Amazing places to dine and mingle with friends. I did just that today.

Have you ever been to a dance class? I’ve never been to one before, and was brave enough to opt for a burlesque dance class at Studio K, thanks to Katy Widrick for the invitation. What a class to begin with, huh? Well, life is about taking some risk and having fun 😉 Friday night was spent braving some daring and scandalous moves and trying my level best not to trip over the chair! And ladies, don’t attempt to do burlesque routine in jeans. Trust me, it was so uncomfortable.

Last Friday night, I had the pleasure of finally meeting a few of Orlando’s lovely blogging blends for dinner. We chowed down on some amazing Lebanese food at the Cedar’s restaurant on Sand Lake.
