… with personal fond memories. I graduated with a MBA degree, healthy and happy! 2009 brought many adventures with traveling and meeting new people with different backgrounds and culture. It was a fun year and hoping for similar adventures in 2010. Times flies. Today would also mark our 2nd blog anniversary in the blogging world. Thank you to all of our readers, friends and families for making Chatterbox, what it is and where it is now π
Apologies for making this post a brief one as traveling can be a challenging episode to blog. With poor Internet connectivity as such. Before I bid adieu to 2009, some of my personal 2009 highlights were my new year resolutions and the revisit, 2009 travelogues, the birth our self-hosting url; kirantarun.com, our photoblog, testing our entrepreneurial skills by establishing an eshop and of course, to be awarded with the Best Rockin Blog in Personal and Photography category by Orlando Sentinel.
I am not setting any new year resolutions for 2010, but would definitely revisit my 2009 goals once again. Over and out!
Have a blessed, happy and wonderful New Year every one π
… spending quality time with friends. We were invited for a dinner party last weekend. It was a food galore! Assortments of Iranian delicacies. With gob-smacking taste-buds, we indulged like there was no tomorrow π If only the photo’s could speak for itself:
Yummylicious Iranian Dinner π
Homemade yogurt!
Assortments of dessert! My fav π
Thinking of joining school for perhaps a 2nd MBA or PhD. It’s excitingΒ to just shop around for more information. Still unsure whether should I do my 2nd Masters or PhD. Kind of back and forth over so many options. And the list of things to do in order to get an admission? God help me! It’s a load of elbow grease let me tell you this. It’s worth it if you are selected into one of many US accredited university or college. I have started preparing for GMAT. And I have visitors over for this weekend. Good lord! So much to do, so less time π October has proven to be one of our busiest month after a long time. A productive one for sure. November is showing the same signs.
The banker, winner and expert negotiator, grinning away π
Last weekend, we played monopoly till wee hours. There were many illegal negotiations and bribery in order to get out of jail and debts. A blast from the past for sure.Β What should we play next? Gilli danda?
Voting for the 2009 Orbbies begins Nov. 2 at 10 am and ends on Friday, Nov. 20 at 5 pm (US Eastern Time). Have you cast your vote for us yet?
p/s: Have a safe and great trip Bahar π Send our regards to your family. I would miss you π
Gosh! It’s been a long time since I blogged. Apologies for the long absence. Completing MBA is currently my priority. I have my last thesis in the workings before I (hopefully) graduate π Promise to blog, reply to comments and feed read as soon as time permits. Meanwhile, I would be catching a flight to Amsterdam tonight and 2 days down the road, to Malaysia. A few weeks after that, to India and I can’t wait to chronology my journey with every one here in the blogosphere. Unfortunately, hubby has to work and would only join me in India some time early March. Sigh!
Thanks for all your kind wishes and moral support. I would be blogging actively in a week or ten days from now. I can’t wait to catch up into my feed reader for a glimpse of what is happening in the life’s of my blogging buddies πΒ Bon voyage to myself π
Kiran
I am taking a break from blogging for some time to concentrate in completing my final MBA journey. I would surely read and reply comments and feeds as soon as time permits. If you hadn’t, do subscribe to Chatterbox via feed reader or email to ensure you receive the news of our comeback—won’t be too long, that’s for sure π Don’t forget to miss us and drop me a message or an email with encouragements—it would definitely cheer me up π
Would miss you all loads, take care!
Over and out… Wait a sec? Before I leave, some bits and pieces from the collection of my favorite quotes.
What are your favorite quote(s)?

Happy Navratri and Dushera everyone!
My dear Hubby, thanks a lot for covering some post whilst I was away tucked under heaps of books and research. I hope many of you out there indulged in Tarun’s view on political and economical situation. I want to hear more on that from you guys. My MBA has bogged me down with quite to do for the last few weeks. This semester is over now, looking forward to my last semester which is just around the corner. So I have many agenda to catch up with before the deadly semester starts π
I need to start preparing for Karva Chauth and Diwali which is just around the corner. Gosh, I can’t wait for Diwali. It would be the first Diwali in our new home. We need to do lots of shopping and planning. On a personal note, I need to catch up with some friends over tea and coffee, getting in new flower pots and shrubs for my garden and the lists goes on and on.
Hubby has suggested to go for a new website. Our own website, YAY! I would need some domain name and web hosting suggestions. Anyone out there to give us a few tips?
We have not watched enough movies lately. I think the last movie we watched was … aarr… wait, i can remember…yes i can, come on! yikes! It’s been a while since we sat and watched a movie together! Right now I am hooked on Khuda Jaane, from Bachna Ae Haseeno. I love the song!
Life here can be pretty routine and hectic sometimes. I need to catch up on some reading. I love Sophie Kinsella’s array of books. They are very amusing, witty and fun to read. It is sort of a way to relax at the end of the day, with a nice book and a cup of bubble tea. Yum! I would read and provide review on the book once it’s completed.
I just discovered Tumblr. I think it’s a cool medium for short blog on links, photos, videos and many cool features. Check it out, I’ve created a link on the right bar labeled Tumblr.
