I was invited a few weeks ago to visit Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, Inc. I was elated because I love supporting non-profit organizations and getting to know more about our community and what we can do to help each other.

First up, a summary of what Goodwill is all about:

to help Floridians overcome barriers to employments and become self-sufficient – thereby reducing the burden on the state and its taxpayers, and empowering our program participants not only with paychecks, but with dignity and self-worth.

You definitely got my vote 😉

We begin the tour by visiting the vocational services. There you’ll find people from all walks of life – including the under-privileged and special kids – coached for self-sustaining and job opportunities.

Hey y’all! Hope your Monday is as glorious as Florida’s recent weather 😀

Just returned from a glorious run. First I thought it would be impossible to get myself out there. But having chowed down on delicious french toast this morning – smothered in butter, nutella and peanut butter – it was more than a convincing reason to workout.

It’s been raining cats and dogs for the last few days. Being a photographer with absolute need of natural light, its difficult to venture outdoors for shooting. The only subjects I’ve been shooting lately are foods. And dare I say how much I am loving it? What’s not to love about food photography. It’s an amazing way to chronology beautiful produce.
