We were out for an outing during the full moon day. The sky was brightly lit by the luminous light from the moon. It was magical.

Hubby has been harping on getting a new TV. I am equally ecstatic. This purchase has involved weeks or even months of research. Research on type, model, size and most importantly, affordability. Price is the key on our budget. Black Friday is gone, thus we were hoping for a good TV deal during Christmas month. We got one from Best Buy and grabbed the deal yesterday, December 18th 2007. Can any one guess what time we purchase it? I don’t think I’ve met any one who purchased television or any electrical items at 11:30 p.m by keeping Best Buy open longer than it’s usual hours. But hey, who won’t? It was worth it for a good deal of a Samsung 50″ plasma.

I have been so busy lately for new posts. But I promise to make up for it, soon I hope. Anyways, since there have been so many things happening in the last few weeks, I thought I would write up a summary :
1. Busy with my MBA thesis – too many research papers to write and still writing !

2. Trying to spend some quality time with my in-laws whom are visiting from India

3. Still busy with MBA

4. Closing for a new home

5. Of course, making a list of things to shop for the new home!

6. Worrying about the move to the new home – endless packing to do!

7. Looking at my cross-stitch project and wondering when would I ever complete it!

8. MBA!

Basically, half of the time is spent on studies. Can?t wait to graduate and devote some considerable amount of time on my blog.

We are both very excited for 2 important reasons:

1) Tarun’s parents (my in-laws) are visiting from India for a few months. We are so excited and can’t help giggling all the time! For us, it is important to be surrounded and blessed by loved ones (family) all the time, especially since we are so far away from everyone. This is the time to catch up, share laughter, tears, more laughter, seek blessings and advice that keeps both of us grounded in life. I don’t know for others, but for us, with the blessings of our parents and families, life seems blissful and worth living 🙂 A pillar of support and guidance from elders should play a very important role in our life?s.

2) Our new home is almost ready to move into. What a great timing! Ma and papa are also very excited. It would be a first moving experience in US for them, as well as for me.

Tarun is a seasoned mover. He has moved to many locations in US since arriving here more than 2 years ago. “Oh no! Packing again?” I can’t stomach the idea of the packing-moving-unpacking process. “Honey, please provide your expertise in this matter?”.

If you could get everyone in the world to change their behavior in one way, what would you have them do differently?

I would make all the buggers drive less. People drive aimlessly here and there and we have war surrounding oil issues.

Oil is still in abundance yet we are still fighting. Think about 30 years from now where there would be very less of oil supply and increase in deadly weapons.

So I want people to drive as less as possible 🙂

But I can’t write anymore now since I am going out for a drive with my wife 🙂
