There’s a point in everyone’s life where a certain event/tragedy alters life’s perspectives. You’d begin living life vicariously as though it’s your final time on earth – every single day. You’d take risky decisions. You’d go on a limb to help people. And the list goes on and on.

I believe in such life altering experience, because we had one recently.

…is almost here. I can feel it in the air 🙂 We are all excited, but at the same time cannot help thinking how its March already! Time is ticking fast.

We got a head-start in getting some soil ready for herbs and tomatoes. Hopefully with my not too stellar green thumb, some would actually survive.

Imagine the possibilities of cutting cost on purchasing herbs. Every little savings counts.

Happy Holi!!

I’m aware we are a day late — the blog was down again, so we partied it up our style.

Well, that’s a lie 😀

We don’t celebrate it here in the States. Apparently throwing colors on anyone might land us an arrest for assault. Don’t want that to happen, do we?

During my childhood, mom had a great hobby — she loved collecting recipes either from books, newspaper & magazine clippings. She seriously has one of those self-made, huge & crammed food bible of all delicious recipes.

Over time, she have added some great collections to her kitchen as well, i.e fine china, cutlery’s etc.
