Travelogue Part 3 – A’Famosa Water World!

After a wonderful night out to celebrate new year, we all woke up very bright and not-so early to enjoy our vacation. Let the fun begin πŸ™‚ A mini-shuttle ride was so refreshing. We sung, danced and clicked photos all day long. I miss everyone.

I miss these cuties πŸ™‚

First up, an elephant ride while awaiting for entrance ticket into the water park. Warning: Grainy and poor photo quality taken from cellphone.

It was funny riding on an elephant. Whether it was worth RM10 per ride for a mere 2 minutes, I don’t think so πŸ˜€ Well, the fun was just about to start.

Overall, A’Famosa Water World offers many amateurish fun water rides that carries some sort of “theme park” feeling. Nothing like the daredevil rides elsewhere. It caters more for children. Adults like us, we had our share of fun too. Swimming and water slides of course.

One of the fun water slides πŸ™‚

We couldn’t wait to cool off as the weather was not at all cooperating. It was freaking hot! But thank goodness for so called cabana’s one can find all across the Water World compound. Nice eh? πŸ˜‰

Luxurious pool side cabana - sort off πŸ˜‰

Don’t let the photos deceive you. Visit A’Famosa resort yourself and you’d be in for loads of surprise. All these years, I never knew why it took us so long to visit here. Well, better late than never I guess. Food and drinks came free with each entry ticket. Certainly not haute cuisine, but after all the water rides and swimming, we were famished πŸ˜€ It came with two choices; either chicken curry or chicken rice. I chose Hainanese chicken rice and Yeo’s Chrysanthemum tea box drink. And yes, I shamelessly ate using the best tools on earth.

Bon Apetito!

After gobbling down some food, we continued swimming, water sliding, taking loads of photos, making memories and basically having a blast with everyone. I miss you all. And I miss all the fun we had. Looking forward to more adventures in the future.

Uber sporting girls & ladies of my life.

Yes, it’s very difficult. Holidays are generally spent with families to make memories πŸ™‚
