We, unaccustomed to courage<\/span><\/address>\n
exiles from delight<\/span><\/address>\n
live coiled in shells of loneliness<\/span><\/address>\n
until love leaves its high holy temple<\/span><\/address>\n
and comes into our sight<\/span><\/address>\n
to liberate us into life.<\/span><\/address>\n
…<\/span><\/address>\n
Love arrives<\/span><\/address>\n
and in its train come ecstasies<\/span><\/address>\n
old memories of pleasure<\/span><\/address>\n
ancient histories of pain.<\/span><\/address>\n
Yet if we are bold,<\/span><\/address>\n
love strikes away the chains of fear<\/span><\/address>\n
from our souls.<\/span><\/address>\n

We are weaned from our timidity<\/span><\/address>\n
In the flush of love’s light<\/span><\/address>\n
we dare be brave<\/span><\/address>\n
And suddenly we see<\/span><\/address>\n
that love costs all we are<\/span><\/address>\n
and will ever be.<\/span><\/address>\n
Yet it is only love<\/span><\/address>\n
which sets us free.<\/span><\/address>\n
