My name is Jeph and I’m the Marketing Assistant at Enzian Theater/Florida Film Festival. One of the major parts of our festival besides the films is the Food and Wine Celebration. The 2011 theme is especially local – “Flavors of Florida”. Please read more about the events here: http://www.floridafilmfestival.com/film_food/film_food_celebration/

My manager Jordan and I would love to keep in touch with you over the coming months. With local and national Chefs playing a role with each event it’s the the kind of Celebration that your readers would love to know about.

Please send me an e-mail at marketing@enzian.org so we can continue a dialogue and get the word to all your “foodies” about these awesome events.

I certainly agree living abroad is new birth of a child reborn, since I am on long holiday in London from Pune, Maharashtra, India originally born and brought up in Mumbai, now in Pune. I am one of the best cook in my family and friends and a participant in master chef India. Today I experienced salmon cooking first time in my life trying Konkani system and discovered that this fish should not be cooked much to bring its flavours completely and adding more spices will reduce its natural flavours I think you agree on this. If any advice please mail me a recipe Indian style, if any, I will be obliged I am here till first week of December and will have more occasions to experiment with U.K. Seafoods.

30 Kiran August 19, 2013 at 1:36 AM

Shyam — Apologies I somehow missed on replying this comment. I hope you had fun experimenting recipes with UK Seafoods.

Hi Kiran! Assuming you speak the language – saya juga dari Malaysia! I stumbled upon your blog from Ohmyveggies and must say, I absolutely LOVE your posts! I tried your Apple & Cardamom tea cakes recipe today and despite not having a few correct ingredients, and thus having a strange texture, my partner and I loved it! We convinced ourselves it was “SUCH” a healthy alternative; NO BUTTER, I kept telling him.
I hope to try many more of your mouth watering recipes. Rindu Malaysia, tak?

44 Kiran September 3, 2013 at 2:41 PM

Apa khabar, Divya 🙂

So glad to see you here from Kiersten’s beautiful blog. Thanks for dropping in with a wonderful comment. So glad you tried the apple & cardamom tea cakes recipe. I admit the ingredients are quite difficult to source but very adaptable. Glad it turned out good for you guys. Definitely rindu Malaysia because my family, relatives and friends are all there. But we make it a point to go on a yearly visit. Hope to meet you there someday. Keep in touch and once again, thanks for the lovely support and wonderful words of encouragement 🙂
