This is the story of a girl and a boy.

Who would have never thought of celebrating Halloween.

But when the girl insists she wants to experience what’s pick-your-own-pumpkin is all about – boy had to give in (forcibly).

Hey y’all!

Hard to believe its half-way through Monday already huh?! Even harder, knowing that September is over. But we are ‘cite and looking forward to cooler fall temps. Florida, enough already with the sweltering, hot and humid weather. And hello to gorgeous lower temps. I’d take any weather below 90s. Any day, any time πŸ˜‰

I had fun reading your comments onΒ Monday Blues. Many shared similar pet peeves and otherwise. One that strikes out in particular to me is where music is ON as soon as you visit a blog or webpage. A huge NO to me. Very annoying. I mean, who could concentrate on reading with such disturbance? I’d rather hear it on MP3 or CD, thank you very much.

I would not apologize for neglecting you, my dear blog. These past few weeks has been a roller coaster ride, beginning with a discovery of thinning hair-line, fever, stomach flu, indigestion, nausea, and the list goes on… Nope, I am not pregnant. Just not so excited being 31. The reality sinks in. Vigorously counting calories. Instead of just eating, I watch what I eat. Exercise frequently, and cut down on salt and eggs. I dislike being in the 30s πŸ˜€

Spring brings joy, blooms, {too much} insects, overgrown lawn, insane amount of weeds killing my lawn, more sunshine, less rain that equals to more sun tan lotion, hat & sunglasses. Sigh. I’ve been complaining too much πŸ™‚

On a lighter note, during my recent trip visiting folks back in Malaysia, I stumbled upon some of my childhood photos. Can you guess ME from this photo?

Me & my siblings πŸ™‚

Which person from your past, who you’ve lost touch with, do you wonder about the most?

Lately, I have been thinking so much about one of my childhood friend. It’s been 15 years since we last communicated. From a reliable source, I was told that Daljeen is in USA, studying psychology. I have been searching her high and low ever since. Her birth date is on Nov 7th 1979. I miss her dearly. I don’t even know where is she located in USA. I have tried many resources, such as reunion and peoplefinder for more details on her whereabouts. I just wished someday she would come across my blog and recognize me. Or some miracle happens, such as meeting her in a supermarket? Or at a book store? How I wished it was simple.

She was such as sweet, caring and helpful friend. And I am sure she continues carrying herself well till today. She was the one who taught me how to play the piano, one of my favorite childhood hobby. I didn’t and still don’t own a piano, but Daljeen never once made me uncomfortable. Rather, she would always try to accommodate and taught me what I needed to know about piano.

Someday, I hope to meet her and re-kindle our friendship.

xoxo
