Long list of to-do’s, writing assignments, house chores, bills, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, running errands.. Blah blah blah.. Hhmph! Sometimes I wish I had more time to complete my daily to-do list. Of course in all this chaos, we should try to enjoy life, make time for ourselves and not allow TO-DO list to haunt. Long list or short, how can we sacrifice living a happy, healthy and wholesome life?

Love yourself before loving others. Don’t beat yourself up with negative fat-talk. Feeling good about yourself reflects in your interactions with others. Positivity wins, all the time.

Appreciate simple pleasures of life by connecting with nature. It’s free, beautiful and encompasses our surrounding. Go for a walk to soak up some Vitamin D whilst exploring what nature has to offer. You’ll never know what you are missing till you set your foot out of that door.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Spend time with friends doing things that you all love, together. From mani-pedi’s, shopping, eating, gossiping or even just having a cup of tea. Nothing like unwinding your daily routine by taking a moment to enjoy life. Most importantly, enjoy being who you are. And oh, a book club isn’t a bad idea either 😉 The key here is to find common interest.

Discover your passion. You might not like what you are doing in your current free time. I challenge myself every day to seek my passion. I now love blogging, photography, cooking, baking, yoga, biking, dancing, reading and even soaking in the bath tub more than ever. Why? Because I gave some “Me” time to evaluate how I can enjoy life everyday without it being just another chore.

Laugh. Life doesn’t necessarily have to be serious all the time. After all, laughter is a great medicine.

I generally take moments for myself during my lunch hour at work. I enjoy going for a walk, while collecting my thoughts for the day.
