There has been so much going on in our lives recently, thus the absence from blogosphere. A lot to write and share. But let’s first continue where I left.
Continuing from our trip to NASA recently, we proceeded to the Astronaut Hall of Fame. PSA warning yet again – this is a lengthy-photo-post. Don’t steal, ask for permission
Alan B. Shepard Jr [the first American in space] statue graced the main entrance of this enterprise. It’s mesmerizing. Almost life-like.
The GForce stimulator is exhilarating! But be warned, it was a nauseous experience. Tarun was all swaying, left and right, with dizziness and slight headache. I was just a spectator, thank you
Of course the exhibition had a lot to offer. Interesting artifacts, informations, photos, collectibles, and historical time-lines all preserved for enthusiasts, tourists and such. I took so many photos, my bandwidth is crying

O BOY!! i would have puked had i been in that capsule!!
Me too
It was dizzying just watching the capsule. Tarun was a little sick, poor him.
Kiran, this sounds very interesting. I didn’t know that they could allow tourists so much inside. And as for the G force Stimulator, wow it sounds exciting! However if I went there today it would be impossible for me to go there as nowadays I feel a little giddy with the roller coaster type of thing. If I had been 18 or something it would have thrilled me!
These are lovely photos Kiran.
Nita´s last blog ..Angelina Jolie’s hand shows that she is fun to be with though she isn’t serious enough!
The Hall of Fame is for tourist only where they display artifacts and what not. The stimulator was a giddy experience, for me as a spectator. Tarun endured dizziness and headache after-wards. Poor baby!
Overall, a very fun and educational outing.
Thanks for your compliment on the photos Nita

And the snaps would be as wonderful! Sad that NASA would be terminating their space missions soon though.
This is very informative, and the pictures are great! It’s a photo journal of the experience. I would love to go there myself. Space travel is just so amazing!
That’s really awesome. I hope someday I’ll have the chance to visit there as well. Really nice pictures and worth all the time & bandwidth to post them up.
I bet you have at least 50++ more pictures apart from the ones you posted. or 100+?
